Saturday evening in Germany. We need some rock music! These are a couple of friends who played in our town last Saturday and I had a great time!

@urs53,
Urs, you always play the most interesting music here. I did recognize the "na na na's". Glad y'all had a great evening, honey. Hi from WA2K to your Swede.

Many of you may not remember Ernie, but he is a guy that really made me laugh. That's unusual in today's TV.

Love that monkey trio.

I enjoyed the Manet exhibit. I never really "got" Ernie's humor.

@Rockhead,
Hey, Rockymoose. The fog dissipated as quickly as it came. That's the way things go in Florida. Thanks for that unusual song by Lenny Kravitz. Calling All Angels was lovely.

Speaking of Florida, y'all. How about this one by the great George Shearing.

@urs53,
Well, our Urs is probably off to bed by now, but I loved the melody of Ich plus Ich's song, and the minor key must indicate that it is a sad one. The visuals were awesome. Thanks for that, gal.

Another birthday gal, y'all.

Most of us will recall Chita.

@edgarblythe,
Amazing, edgar. I really like that version of Marlon and Jean singing, "I'll Know When my Love Comes Along." Marlon wasn't bad, Texas. They did do a remake of Guys and Dolls.

Will always love Perry Como and that Mambo by him was great as usual.

Time for me to say Goodnight, and we'll have to do this version by Johnny Mercer, as I have never found the original, I'm afraid.

For Barry the Brit , Prince Gautam, and Mamma Verbie. (hope I got her name right)

Good morning, WA2K folks.

Missed edgar's Around the World by Bobby Rydell. That matches our Izzie's The Magic of Nature. Loved the music to that one, hun.

My word, Brit. I saw Funny Girl with Babs. Had no idea about Fanny Brice. Thanks, London, and thanks to our Texan for the original.

Today is Neil Diamond's birthday, so here's one by him, y'all.

@edgarblythe,
Oops, missed Blue Moon Over my Shoulder, too. About the only thing that I recall by Tex is the theme song to High Noon, Texas.

Loved, "Zat You Myrtle". Don' know Bill, however. Thanks for the smile, edgar.

Today is Jools Holland's birthday so here are two songs about the man.

First, Leonard Cohen.

Now, Jools and the band Squeeze

I don't really know Jools, but he did pretty well there. Cohen of course is one of my all time top favorite writer/artists.

@edgarblythe,
I'll bet you know this guy, edgar. His birthday is today. Died the same way that River Phoenix did.
