Hey Reyn. Welcome back. What would you like to hear?

Hi Letty and all!

I've got one for you from a young local artist living here. Her name is Victoria Duffield, and she's singing her version of "Defeated", a favourite of mine. Very Happy

Good morning, WA2K radio folks.

Reyn, Wow! Victoria Duffield is fabulous, Canada. Never heard her before but that song "Defeated" is great. What lovely eyes she has.

Today is Jim Croce's birthday, and I'll dedicate this one to Santa Tomas e Lucas. Wish that I would hear from him.

Never heard Jim do a bad one, y'all.

Good morning. It's 20 degrees out. Nevertheless, the boss wants a staff meeting. I will be back around the middle of the day.

@edgarblythe,
Good, edgar. We all need to relax in this extreme weather.

Anyone remember this movie? I was inspired by Francis' hare photo.

Keep in mind that Orion was "the hunter" and the lepus was a small hare constellation south of Orion. Star gazing again, y'all.

Victoria just recently turned 15 and is a great up and coming talent. Her self-confidence is amazing and has a wonderful personality and infectous smile.

I'm sure she will have a great career ahead of her! I will be going to a performance of hers next Friday.

Ah, Mooseman, you know that I love that one by Marvin Gaye. Thanks for the memory.

annis, Welcome to our cyber radio station. That one by Hot Chocolate reminds me of all the books that I read in the third grade about Little Brown Cocoa. Also tried to recognize those silent film stars. One was this guy,

Rudolph Valentino, of course, and I think the original Phantom of the Opera.

Couldn't figure out the rest, but I love Started with a kiss, and their great one, I Believe in Miracles.

Here's Prelude to a Kiss by Johnny Mathis. Had to sneak a jazz song in here.

I spent the past week driving with a Johnny Mathis greatest hits CD playing. I just changed it for the Selena compilatioin.
Jim Croce is another artist I have much of his music on vinyl.

@Izzie,
Love Taylor Swift's song, Izzie. Yep icicles and falling temperatures as well.

It's predicted to slip to 27 degrees this evening.

Anyone remember this suave man? Today is his birthday.

Maybe this will warm us all up remembering Casablanca.

@Izzie,
I recognized Sam's first song, I Left My Love in Avalon, Izzie, and since Sam didn't get to finish As Time Goes by, here it is by Rod Steward and the Queen.

Paul Henreid was a fine actor all right. And As Time Goes By - what can one say that has not been said a million times?
