@edgarblythe,
er, edgar, Bogart was a no show on your Jack Benny clip. No matter, Texas, We know that look, right?

Time for me to say goodnight, and I'm going to do so with Nat and Avalon. (that was the first song Sam played)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1f1zYCiJ4bw

So glad to see our British friends here tonight.

From Letty with love and hope for a warmer tomorrow.

I should have cautioned. It has three parts. He shows midway in the second. It is fascinating near the end to watch him hawking cigarettes, since they are probably responsible in large part for the lung cancer that killed him.

dj, Welcome back. I love those Clancy Brothers, Canada. Ah, The Wild Rover. Thanks, buddy.

edgar, I had no idea that Mario did that one. Damn, what a voice. Will have to check, but Vera Lynn may have done that one as well.

Well, y'all, today is Rod Taylor's birthday, so let's hear a tribute to him, shall we?

I grew up liking Rod Taylor. Been a long time since I noticed him in anything.
Happy Birthday Naomi.

Her's Paul Butterfield's Blues Band.

@edgarblythe,
Love that one, edgar. Wonder if kids are still forbidden to chew gum in school?

Inspired by the railroads of farmerman, here's one that I love.

@edgarblythe,
Ah, edgar, my older sister loved Sarah. She told me that Sister Rosetta Tharpe was her sister, and I was checkin' it out and had another bit of cognitive insight.

One of my students thought Rosetta Stone was a woman, and I found this, y'all.

Letty I hope you don't mind, but I felt it is important to honor the 6 Law Enforcement Officers our community in WA State has lost within the past few months. I truly hope that some positive changes will be made as a result of these tragedies.

Welcome back TTH. Of course we don't mind. That was a great tribute to the Law Enforcement Officers.

@edgarblythe,
Thanks again for your acknowledgment, edgar. Don't know that Mexican song, but according to my research, they do bullfighting music and flamenco guitar.

Gracias for the introduction, Texas.

Time for me to say goodnight, and I think that I shall do so with a Tears for Fears song.

That's a nice goodnight song, letty.

My good night is with the Carters. I have a beautiful version of it by Belafonte, but it's not on youtube.
