@edgarblythe,
edgar, that Promise was sad but true. Another "Brother Can you Spare a Dime."

Well, I guess I should apologize for being such a fruitcake on your thread, so I'll let Billy do it for me. Remember him?

I was trying to be punny.

@Rockhead,
Ah, Rock. Love Jimmy Buffet's Fruitcake. He is one great performer.

Time for me to say goodnight, and I think that I shall let Willie Nelosn do it for me. I think Jimmy did this one as well, but I couldn't locate it.

Glad that I could make you laugh.

From Letty with love and a smile

Good morning, WA2K folks. Thanks to edgar and Rock for the two versions of Vigilante. Love both versions, guys. (I had to learn the hard way about "willie") Razz

Today is Marlene Dietrich's birthday. Loved her in Witness for the Prosecution.

Here is a tribute to the lady.

I love Billy Eckstine. Also the song, Goodnight Irene. Marlena Dietrich has always puzzled me. I guess the fruit cakes I've eaten over the years have addled my senses.

@edgarblythe,
Ah, edgar, that's a great one by ABBA. Love that Swedish group. Thanks.

I think some of our listeners may have missed this one by Diana, so let's hear it again, y'all.

I listened to that song earlier, letty, but it's still a nice one. Here is a song that uses the sounds made by whales in the background.

That was an interesting clip, letty. I haven't seen any Star Trek films. All I watched of it with any consistency was the original series, many years ago.

I gots little Peggy March with the only hit she made that I am aware of.

@edgarblythe,
I know that song, edgar, but don't know Little Peggy March. Thanks for the memory jog, buddy.

Today is Louis Pasteur's birthday, so how about a little history channel, y'all.

I particularly like the music in the video, letty.

My favorite old west personality was Wild Bill Hickok. Here is a photographic video tribute.

Izzie, I really like Louis' Wonderful World. Thanks, hun.

edgar, pasteurized milk is not as healthy for you as whole milk

Wow! Loved those photos of Wild Bill. Wasn't he shot in the back while playing poker? Seems to me that refer to that particular one as "the dead man's hand".

Welcome back, cowboy. Also like Mile's Watermelon Man. Thanks.

Speaking of outlaws, y'all.

Hugh Masekela
Grazing in the Grass
I had the pleasure of attending his concert at I believe Lincoln Center, in 1968, in NY.

@edgarblythe,
Wow! I had no idea who Hugh Masekela was, but thanks again for the introduction, Texas.

More research on the man and I found this one.
