edgar, always love Hank, but he ain't no "snow"white. His Wishing Well is great, Texas, and thanks.

Panz, thanks for that info. Didn't know that "Someone to Watch Over Me was in Mr. Holland's Opus.

Tai Chi, more synchronicity. This antediluvian lady played clarinet in my high school marching band. Love that one by Sousa as well, gal.

Wow! Glad you're okay Brit. And just who is this BarrytheMod featuring Chris Rainbow's Love You Eternally. Great song.

Listened to Nora's "Chasing Pirates". fabulous song, but I don't think she was talking about Long John Silver.

Well, folks, Just did some more research. Yikes. I have worked harder on our cyber radio than I did getting my Master's Degree at UVA.

"Take It Easy" is a song written by Jackson Browne and Glenn Frey, and recorded by the Eagles (with Frey singing lead vocals). It was the band's first single, released on May 1, 1972. It also was the opening track on the band's debut album Eagles and it has become one of their signature songs, included on all of their live and compilation albums. It is one of The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's 500 Songs that Shaped Rock and Roll.

Now I understand edgar's reference.

Here's a lady that is an Irish vocalist and politician singing a song that says it all about what love really is, y'all.

Hope I didn't miss anyone. You all play and say such great stuff here.

Ah, Izzie, love that song by Queen. I recall telling David that you were magic and his reply: That's another story.

Listened to Little Things Mean a Lot again, 'cause I love the message that it sends.

Not to worry about the email. The Brit is all right as you must have noticed.

Time for me to say goodnight, and I think that I shall do so with Matt Monroe. This one by him is in Spanish. Don't need a translation, because his wonderful voice says it all.

Little Things Mean a Lot is a great song, letty. And Matt Monroe has never made a bad recording, to my ears.
Thanks for that Queen song, izzie.

Good morning, WA2K folks

edgar, Love The Ames Brothers, and I know Melodie D'Amour. They were good, right?

Hey Brit. Matt's Strike up the Band was great and Sting's Christmas at Sea made me shiver.I needed that, too.

Red sky in the morning, sailors take warning. Let this be a warning to all, because today is Joni Mitchell's birthday, and she breaks all the rules in this one.

Shine.

Did not know that Joni had polio when she was young.

@Letty,
thanks for the Joni, letty.
Her voice has grown so calloused compared to her early sound which was clear as a bell.
Years of cigarettes and neglect I imagine.
It's now a handsome, world weary voice. Full of character and passion. Such is life.

Joni is one of the giants, in my opinion.

Here is another version of I'll Be Seeing You

panz, I realize that Joni was not as full-voiced as she was when she sang "Both Sides Now", but it was her determination and telling it like it is that impressed me. The visuals were so graphic and true.

edgar, Mario did that one beautifully. I need to find out who else did "I'll Be Seeing You".

Sad to me that Mario died so young. Such beauty and talent in his voice. Caruso died at forty eight.

Today is Al Hirt's birthday, and I had to smile seeing that he did The Green Hornet. Like this one by him, however.

I noted how much I like her voice now. The video was skillfully edited.

@panzade,
Ok, I gotcha, panz. Thanks for the clarification.

Well, I just found out who did "I'll Be Seeing You", too. It was none other than Dame Vera Lynn. She was fabulous.

Her tribute to England.
