@edgarblythe,
That is the most beautiful music that I have heard in a while, edgar. Hans Kruppa is obviously German, and I see he did the lyrics. Someone else must have put the piano music to The Long Farewell.

I noticed tha Prelude to a Kiss was one of the choices. It was also referred to as Music from Beyond the Moon.

Never heard of Marva, either

@Letty,
There are so many talented artists out there. On youtube I see new ones (to me) every day. Marva is new to me also.

@edgarblythe,
Oops, I searched out Rex Allen, but couldn't find your song. You forgot the link.

No problem, edgar, cause I goofed as well. Prelude to a Kiss was NOT music from beyond the moon.

My goodnight songs are two.

First, My One and Only Love (that's music from beyond the moon)

Then my daughter reminded me of the second one because She, Dave, Bud and I used to sing it frequently.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ecrE80rnjhw&feature=fvw

and the second one.

Thanks so much for taking my mind off my woes.

Good morning, WA2K radio folks.

Hey, Moose. Really like Little River Band although I don't know them. Thanks, honey.

edgar, Did I miss acknowleging Rex Allen? Don't recall him, but I like his horse.

Izzie, Never heard Tina Arena and Marc Anthony, but they are great, gal. Tree Surfin'? Used to do that all the time but without the platform. You and Tulip and sboy are so wonderful to see. How do you stay so lovely?

I like this guy, y'all, and he's a legend.

You had mentioned Rex earlier, because I forgot the link. Rex was a good singer/cowboy actor. I was recently embarrassed to find him in a film wearing black face. I saw him perform at the San Antonio rodeo, when I was 20. He and Anita bryant were there that evening.

Anita Bryant has lost much of her star power. She was in the news for anti gay remarks, plus got a pie in the face from an activist.

ah, edgar, I had forgotten about Anita Bryant's problem. Really liked My Little Corner of the World. Whatcha wanna bet that the real problem lay in the fact that the citrus growers of Florida lost money.

JPB, that was a great version of The Star Spangled Banner. Your acronym reminded me of a song called Nola.

How about a little jazz by Dave and Paul, y'all.

I used to buy Dave Brubeck's albums. He makes some good music. The song by John Lennon I am going to play was not intended for the public. It was originally recorded by Don and Phil, the Everly Brothers.

@edgarblythe,
I recall Cathy's Clown, edgar. Didn't know that The Beatles had done it.

Uhoh. The very mention of clown reminds me Enrico Caruso.

How about our opera piece for the day.

@edgarblythe,
edgar, that was a beautiful song, and The Glass Poets are new to me. The visuals were also fantastic. There's something about howling animals that is both alluring and frightening.

"If you love something; set it free" as opposed to "When the heart ain't free."

Well, Texas you once again inspired me to do more research. What a surprise to find The Looking Glass Wars, but I won't go into that. Too many kids love Lewis Carol.

Wonder what happened to onyxelle? She liked this one, folks.
