I liked your good night music, letty. Barry and rock: also good.
Good morning folks. We may be hit with rain storms within the hour. Wish I could spend the day on Cape Cod.

Good morning, WA2K.

Rock, loved Diana's version of "Quiet Nights and Quiet Stars. Thanks, Kansas.

Hey, Brit. Ah, Burton's version of Hamlet, Prince of Denmark. It's has been said that was one of Shakespeare's poorest plays.

Camelot was great, however.

Another marvelous pictorial of H.G. Wells. Thanks for all three, London.

edgar, I just saw that there was severe flooding in Ormond Beach. Wow! Thanks for a memory of Patti Page and Old Cape Cod.

It's good to listen to the mix of "The Bard" and the pop art.

I vaguely recall Burton's doing Edwin Boothe in Prince of Players. What a waste of talent. <sigh>

How about something for Portugal, folks.

Today is Andrea Bocelli's birthday and here's one by him. He is blind, and that makes it even more powerful.

Love of Portugal next.

I know those melodies. Guess they must have been stuck somewhere in the corner of my mind.

Boceli is very good on that song, letty. I like the singer's voice on Amor A Portugal.
Haven't listened to Chris Montez in a while:

Well, WA2K, it's another one of those afternoon sessions, I guess.

Heard from our Raggedy and she is fine, so this is for her.

And I'm certain that Belafonte fans will like this one as well, because today is Shari Belafonte's birthday.

From the Ed Sullivan show, Mr Sam Cooke.

Wuthering Heights - Shari Belafonte - Thanks, letty. I am preparing to listen to Shari right now.
Edit: Chris Norman - Not sure who he is, but he's pretty good.

@edgarblythe,
Not certain who Chris Norman is either, edgar, but I couldn't find a song of Shari by herself.

I had forgotten how much I like Sam Cooke, buddy, but I had no idea that he had sung Sentimental Reasons.

Hey, panz. Not certain what you mean, but here's another by Sam the cupid man.

This song is for Miss Letty. She has the spirit of a gentle angel that flies around the forum with soft little wings, and her caring love is left with her every post, and wherever she is, you are sure to walk away a better person.

Tis one of my favorite angel songs for singing or just listening to.

Oh the summertime is coming
And the trees are sweetly blooming
And the wild mountain thyme
Grows around the blooming heather
Will ye go, Lassie go?

And we'll all go together
To pluck wild mountain thyme
All around the blooming heather
Will ye go, Lassie go?

I will build my love a bower
Near yon' pure crystal fountain
And on it I will build
All the flowers of the mountain
Will ye go, Lassie go?

And we'll all go together
To pluck wild mountain thyme
All around the blooming heather
Will ye go, Lassie go?

If my true love she were gone
I would surely find another
To pluck wild mountain thyme
Grows around the blooming heather
Will ye go, Lassie go?

And we'll all go together
To pluck wild mountain thyme
All around the blooming heather
Will ye go, Lassie go?

Let us go, lassie, go
