@edgarblythe,
edgar, the Irish lady, Sinead, does that one beautifully. I recall your having done that by Don Williams. Thanks for the lovely afternoon song.

Been reading along today, and I noticed that farmerman was talking about the K word. Naturally, I did some research and found that it has many different etymologies, most of them derogatory. One or two have to do with Africa, so that reminded me of this great song by ToTo.

@edgarblythe,
Great "happy song ", edgar. Always have loved Skokiaan.

My word, in searching for something to play that implied "all roads lead to Dylan", I came across this song, folks, and all this time we thought that Mary Hopkins was the originator.

A Russian folks song? Wow!

@edgarblythe,
Nothing new under the sun, right? Thanks for that info, edgar. Music and history are a beautiful way to learn.

Speaking of "new", how about a little jazz, y'all.

What's New.

I have three Preacher and the Bear recordings in my collection - Big Bopper, Leadbelly and Phil Harris. It's a really great song.

Wonder what happened to the owl?

Time for me to say goodnight, and I think that I shall do so with a "fly away" song.

Fly Away, hey? Edgar's not too bad. I looked back three times before I could find dys's song, for some reason. Well, I got caught up watching King Kong on ABC. I'm a sucker for big lavish productions like that.

Good morning, WA2K folks.

edgar, Loved that version of "Nobody's Business" by Kay and Tennessee Ernie. Thanks, buddy.

Hey, Brit. Wow! what a fantastic tribute to Peggy Lee by Dusty, and Eva's version of Ain't No Sunshine was great. Thanks, London.

Today is Bill Muray's birthday, y'all, so here is a tribute to him.
