@edgarblythe,
Ah, edgar, I love all kinds of music, but Eddie's "Bury me Not" is great.

How about this one by him, y'all.

@Rockhead,
Love that song Wild Horses, Rock. Natasha? Wasn't Natasha and Boris in the Bullweenkle and Rocky show? <big smile>

I have forgotten which horse was Boida's; however, I PMed her with this sad song.

Cattle Call - That recording has been with me since about the age of six. When my wife went on a few trail rides with her family, they woke them each morning with that song.
Thnx for the horses, rock.
The song about the Nez pierce is a tough one to listen to, awful as the true story was.
Lazy Bones is a great song. Thanks for that one.

pullin' the late shift again miss letty.

another birthday.

Peter Cetera (wiki)

"Cetera (pronounced /səˈtɛrə/ sə-TERR-ə) was born the second of six children to a Polish-American father and a Hungarian-American mother on the South Side of Chicago. He wanted a guitar but his parents instead bought him an accordion at 11 years old. When he was 15, some older students from his high school took him to a club to see a band called The Rebel Rockers, which led to his purchasing an acoustic guitar at Montgomery Ward.

He eventually took up the bass guitar, and with some high school friends"a drummer, guitarist and saxophone player"Cetera began playing the local dance circuit, dividing lead vocals with the guitarist. Cetera played in several groups in the Chicago area, including a popular local rock band named The Exceptions, which toured the Midwestern United States in the mid 1960s, releasing two albums and several singles."

Good early morning, WA2K.

Love the Green Hornet by Al, edgar, and thanks for being our gracious host while I sat outside at a wonderful restaurant and watched the heavy skies and had a wonderful dinner.

Welcome back Soccer George and thanks for the jazz and the lazy bones song. I believe the crooner did that one as well.

Chet Baker and Paul Desmond. What great jazz musicians and Lady Be Good was really enjoyable.

Rock, never heard Pete Cetera, but I really like him and the song that he did was different. So sorry that you have to pull another late shift, buddy. Happy Sunday to you as well.

Well, let's continue with the jazz genre as today is Mel Torme's birthday.

Wouldn't ya know that my air conditioner is not working and it's hot and heavy in my wee studio. Hope to get it fixed today, so let's hope someone out there is available.

Rock, I didn't know that there WAS a Chicago rock band, buddy. I recall you having played Peter Cetera. Thanks for that one, Kansas.

edgar, I have never heard that one by Brenda and willie, but who knows. They may be right. We may never know the people who really love us.

and I got Bobby Darin, dys. and his song is perfect for today cause it rained this morning and "shined" this afternoon.
