@Foxfyre,
Hey, foxyowl. That song by Bette is about Janis Joplin. Also loved her "Wind Beneath My Wings".

Wind Beneath and the Rose are excellent songs, people.
I just returned from a visit with my son. The A/C compresser over there is fried. Couldn.t get another one. Hope they can survive until something can be done.

Thanks edgar, Latin George, and Rock for all the great music. Wish I felt like acknowledging each contribution, but don't feel too well tonight, so I better go to bed.

My goodnight songs, y'all.

First Matt Monroe. He died so young and this song seems appropriate.

Now the only one that I recall by the Chordettes.

Good morning, WA2K folks.

edgar, I know that song by Billy Vaughn. Love the instrumental, Texas and thanks. Didn't know that the Chordettes did the Zorro theme.

Ah, Rock. I had forgotten about Herb Alpert. Love that one, buddy. Thanks.

Hey, Brit. Don't know Alan Price, but that song just reminds us that the past has come to visit us again.

Well, dys, The Eve of Destruction bears telling over and over. Thanks, cowboy.

Today is Peter Sellers' birthday. What a funny guy, y'all.

Here is a montage of him and it's a great tribute.

@Letty,
The Brothers Four and The Four Brothers --- interesting. I'd never heard of the Four Brothers, Miss L. I enjoyed that very much, but they're certainly different than the Brothers Four.

Here's another birthday celebration for today.
