@edgarblythe,
edgar, I love that song, and I was stunned to see that James Taylor was singing with Tony. Thanks for bringing us all some happiness tonight, Texas.

Time for me to say goodnight and you have inspired me to do one by James.

For all of us with loved ones, y'all.

I didn't know that one by James Taylor, letty. Somebody I met this week puts me in mind of this Beatles song.

Good morning, WA2K radio folks.

edgar, I've known some "nowhere" women as well. Love that Beatles song, Texas and thanks.

Hey, Brit. Thanks for all your contributions and I hate that you have to cover for those who are on holiday.

Well, today is another anniversary, y'all, so here is a tribute.

Knew the guy who worked for the folks who made the faulty O Ring. He was given a golden handshake. (which means he was bought off) Also watched the idea of A UFO.

Here's another Beatles' song that says a lot.

I love that Day in the Life song.
And I believe it is good to stop a moment now and then to honor the Challenger victims.
I recommend reading the lyrics of this Garland Jeffries song.

@edgarblythe,
Don't know Garland Jeffreys, edgar, but you are right about "jumping". We can mix the "art for art's sake", and those great musicians. Thanks for the great video and the mini philosophy, Texas.

How about a Canadian and an Innuit, then.

First, Oscar.

Now Keanu whose birthday is today.

Loved his movie The Devil's Advocate, y'all.

Had to search Keanu Reaves, because although I am familiar with the name, could not place him. I saw him in The Day the Earth Sttood still (remake) and Bill and Ted. That's not enough to make a strong impression. I should check out his other stuff, perhaps.

@edgarblythe,
I love that song, edgar, and I know it. Ray Stevens is one swinging singer, buddy.

Thanks to McTag, I finally found this song that I have been searching for recently.

@edgarblythe,
One of my favorites, edgar. Here's one that my Dave and his wife sang together. (she looked a lot like Carly)

Yep. Lonesome road.
Once when I was a sailor, I came into our sleeping quarters, thinking I was alone down there. I launched into my own version of Serenade, only to look up and see two guys laughing at me. My voice is atrocious. I was embarrassed for the moment, but quickly got over it.

Good morning Ms Letty and Ed from a blustery London town (what happened to our promised Summer????????).Anyway,some great news for us Brits! Since March,Youtube was forced to block thousands of music videos to the UK.Thankfully,Google,the owner of Youtube,has beaten out an arrangement with the Performing Rights Society who were representing the songwriters.So I look forward to not seeing "THIS VIDEO IS NOT AVAILABLE IN YOUR COUNTRY" ever again.
