An old highschool classmate posted this for me on Facebook today and it did bring back memories. Some of you might be old enough to also appreciate it:

@dyslexia,
Yes but some of us are old enough to have attended highschool and at least part of our college years in the 50's.

And immodestly, I think we had some of the best music of any era ever.

been having some equipment trouble, y'all, but I do want to acknowledge each contribution.

Hey, foxy lady. I sang that Wolverton Mountain at a country club in Southwest Virginia. Had never heard of it, but that's what they wanted, so I learned it. Thanks for the memory, and welcome back, gal.

Rock, I like your version as well.

dys, I know Hallelujah and I think that I heard it first from you.

edgar, I guess I like to work in some smooth jazz once in a while, and the tribute to Bird Parker was a memory of being in Birdland in New York. Thanks for that great country song by Hank Locklin. Ah, Fraulein was a great memory of camping with our German friends.

Panz, I know that you like Shearing so you ought to do one by him sometimes. Loved seeing and hearing him at The Embers.

Time for me to say goodnight, and I think I shall do it with the moon.

This is so beautiful and soothing.

To each of you,

From Letty with love

I like Claire de Lune, letty.
I am saying good night with an instrumental composition of Bobby Darin's.

Good morning, WA2K folks.

edgar, I had no idea that Bobby had written an instrumental. Thanks for that pearl, Texas.

Just listened to Phil Ochs' Pleasures of the Harbor. I can understand why he and his song would be on your mind. Had no idea that the man hanged himself. Creative people are often subjected to mood swings, etc. It appears that he was manic depressive. We really never know about these things.

Rock, that parody of Bob Dylan's Knocking on Heaven's Gate was fantastic. I'll wager that Dylan liked it himself.

How about a bit of relaxing music to begin our day, folks.

You haven't arrived unless someone makes a parody of you, right?

You'll like this one, cowboy.

The Masked Marauders was not parody, but a hoax, in which Dylan, Mick Jagger and other super stars were supposed to have recorded a super session.
