er, dys are you saying that Ted was tilting at windmills?

http://www.jograham.com/animgall/bldgs/mills/windmill.gif

Ya know, panz, every good actor needs to test his talent by playing a villain.

Wow! I love that song by Waylen, edgar. Thanks.

Speaking of villains, how about Jack Black. Today is his birthday.

I read it to mean that Ted, in seeking for us a better world, was a dreamer of perhaps the impossible.

Speak, dys, speak. You and Sally dog are in this together.

and while we wait for our edgar to listen to Jack Black, we'll listen to one funny man sing and dance. It's Donald O Connor's birthday, y'all.

I wasn't sure if that was Jack Black or someone else. I haven't seen much of him.

Sometimes I forget about Donald O'Conner, but he was as great as any of'em, in my book.

@edgarblythe,
Goodnight, edgar. Rest well, Texas. Love that George Hamilton IV song. Noticed that the singing ranger did that one as well.

Well, folks, Dante has got dys' tongue so I'll say goodnight with Willie

I came back because I just saw that the man whose voice is on this song has been found dead in his apt. He was known as disc jockey, AM. There were pill bottles around his corpse.

Good morning, WA2K radio.

edgar, that is sad about the butterfly man. Thanks for letting us know. Although a rapper, he deserves better than that, Texas.

Hey, Rock. I love the way Bob Dylan did Three Angels. It was poetry set to music. Thanks, Kansas.

Hey Brit. Really enjoyed Shirley Ellis, but I think my favorite of your songs was Gil Scott Heron, and that was because of the jazz type flute.

Wow! How did I miss the Discovery shuttle. Yes, Godspeed.

In response to edgar's Butterfly, here is a jazz tune followed by a salute to Charlie "Bird" Parker who also was the victim of drugs.

Poor Butterfly
'Neath the blossoms waiting
Poor Butterfly
For she loved him so

The moments pass into hours
The hours pass into years
And as she smiles through her tears
She murmurs low

The moon and I
Know that he'll be faithful
I know he'll come to me
By and by

But if he don't come back
Then I'll never sigh or cry
I just must die
Poor Butterfly

Happy birthday, Bird

@Letty,
I may or may not have said how much enjoyed edgarblythes visit, it was far more than delightful, when he was ready to leave i found meself unable to rise to the ocassion but he seemed to understand that and bent down to give me a hug, I shall not forget that effort on his part.

The Kennedy funeral is underway. I have been watching it for some time now. One of the first things, when I tuned in, a voice was singing The Impossible Dream. After the honor guard set the casket in the aisle, I had to break away a few minutes. It's an emotional farewell for me. He was one of the last true Democrat liberals, a last true voice for the people.

Good afternoon, WA2K. Hmmm, seems as though we have some male bonding here today. If we're going to weep, let's let a tree do it for us.
