@edgarblythe,
Oops, edgar. Missed your sugaree by the Allman Brothers. Don't know that one, Texas, but I remember Jerry Garcia of The Grateful Dead.

Here's a tribute to him, folks.

@edgarblythe,
Nite, edgar, and that Rolling Stones was a great one to leave by.

Time for me to say goodnight as well, and I had forgotten that the Rolling Stones did this one as it was banned for a bit.

And from the Beatles, folks.

Ah, Brit. So sorry that you have to work this weekend. Don't know your Dragonfly, but I like it.

We used to call those little flying creatures "snake doctors". They were flying all over my front yard.

Today is Charles Boyer's birthday. He is a movie legend, y'all.

Wow! Just found out that Charles Boyer did himself in. How sad; the man did Mayerling, Pepe Le Moco of the Casbah.(come with me to ze Casbah)and Napoleon.

hey, panz and Barry the Brit, here's an op ed by Shania Twain. Don't think she's any kin to Mark, however.

Incidentally, today is her birthday.

She's got the largest selling record of all time, but I wonder how much her husband had to do with her success. Since their estrangement she's done nada.

@panzade,
Panz, I didn't even know that Shania was Canadian. Just chose to play her song because it was her birthday.

Often, when a separation occurs, talented people need a respite.

I guess your reference to Boyer meant the movie Gaslight. Looked that up and found out that he had killed Ingrid's aunt (I guess)the summary wasn't very good.

Love to learn things about movies, y'all. Wish AMC would do more of the oldies.

Thanks for the inspiration, buddy.

Yep, edgar, love her voice.

Here's another surprise to me. Today is David Soul's birthday, and he can sing.

@edgarblythe,
What a voice Jack has, edgar, and he's right. Gypsies, jugglers, and clowns help us get through the day, and often through the night. Love that solo bass in there as well.

Yep, David is a "soul man"

Never hear Jack that I don't think of his dad. (Roger's eeyor reminds me of this one as well)

My word, folks, I just discovered that Mario Lanza and Enrico Caruso did that one as well.

the movie Gaslight.

In it he tries to make Ingrid go mad. It's a very haunting movie...you never feel at ease with Boyer again.
