@Barry The Mod,
You won't believe how I have searched for this, Brit. It's not by Tony, but here is what he was singing.

Love George and Ira Gershwin.

In the mid to late 60s Tony was one of my favorite singers. I still have three or four albums from then.

Sorry for building your hopes up WA2K,but after last weeks brilliant coverage of the Folk Festival,I imagined they would give the Jazz Festival equal status.

Absolutely, Brit. I think it's good to do research. It's what keep our little cyber radio going. Thanks.

Edgar, Had no idea that Tony did The Shadow of Your Smile. Loved that.

Well this has been Italiano night, folks, and I shall say good night with this wonderful aria. Enrico Caruso did it originially, but Mario does it well, too.

@edgarblythe,
You, too. Texas.

Good morning, WA2K radio folks. Mario really rolled them "r's".

Glad to see that Izz and Rock made it safely to Kansas.

Well, today is Ian Anderson's birthday, so here's one for the Brits and another for the Canucks.

I watched Zorro quite a bit in my youth. Haven't seen the later versions. D, Krall has a good voice.

The Eric Anderson reminds me of 1963 Dylan on that one.
When Aqualung was a new album I bought it and played it a few times, but later lost interest in it.

Anyway, I gots Perry Como at my shoulder. He's eager to sing for us. Take it easy, Perry. You''ll get your chance. Sheesh.

@Francis,
Wow! more synchronicity, folks. I was searching for additional Antiono songs, and here's Francis.(you're welcome, buddy) I didn't realize how many folks had done the Phantom. Neither did I realize that a Frenchman had originally written the book on same.

I once worked around a person named Urlene. It wasn't long before I could not resist adapting this song to her name. Smile

The Phantom video was great.

@edgarblythe,
edgar, I worked in TV with a woman named Erlene, but I didn't think of calling her Joline. Liked that one by Dolly.

Been having a wee bit of trouble with my equipment, but where there's a "wheel", there's a way.

Blood Sweat and Tears had a string of very good records. Some of their songs were written by this lady.
