Rock, that was one funny movie. All of Eddie Murphy's movies were funny. Thanks, Kansas. I just smiled again for the second time in a row.

Soccer George. Welcome back. Etta and Chuck know how to do that rock and roll, right? Felt a bit like dancin' myself. Thanks, buddy.

Can y'all believe that Gus, the farmer, doesn't know about corn pone? Well, there are two types. Cornpone humor and the kind that we eat. Actually, folks, it just corn bread that's shaped differently. Use to make it all the time. Corn bread, pinto beans and sliced maters. Used to be called hoe cake as well.

For those of you who have no idea what corn bread in a black skillet looks like, this ain't it.

and, all, a nice musical as further explanation.

My word, folks, Gus appears and everyone else disappears.

No mind, I have a lovely goodnight song; I talked to my son and he sounded great.

Good morning, WA2K radio.

Hey, Rock. Loved that "soul food" song. Thanks for the reminder of what we are missing, Kansas.

McTag, Welcome back. The Kingston Trio has always been one of my favorites, and that song is worth a play anytime, buddy. Need to do some research on Manuel. Haunting song, and thanks.

Well, y'all, today is Brian May's birthday and this one is perfect to light up the day.

@Letty,
Morning Miss Letty. Heard a guy by the name of Seth Lakeman on another thread today. He's 'haunt' me ever since. Smile

@Dutchy,
Dutchy, Seth Lakeman's song was fabulous. Never heard him, buddy, but I understand the "haunted heart". Nice connection, Aussie. You missed Rembrandt's birthday. Well, we can't all be Dutch masters, right? Razz

Strange, folks. Today is Edward Degas' birthday, so let's see a tribute to him, followed by a Nat Cole song. Why is it that all painters feel the need to do at least one nude? Degas did two or three.

Swing it, Nat.

@dyslexia,
I always liked that song, dys.

Unrelated to anything but my random meanderings around Youtube, I found a fun collage of dance movie cuts.

dys, I like that Donovan song as well. Thanks, cowboy.

JPB, that is one of my all time favorites by James Taylor, Thanks, Chi.

My word, that song is one I recall quite well and the montage of dancers was wonderful. Had no idea that Nat did it, either.

I think my favorite version is by Diana Krall, however. Let's compare, shall we?

JPB, I love what Diana does with that song. It's a Latin beat of sorts. Thanks squirrel lady.

How about a little country for Sunday, folks. I love this one.

Oops, sorry. Something is amiss in my wee studio. I think it's because I ventured where I should not have.

Let's try it again.
