Good morning, WA2K radio audience.

I listened to all the songs. Strange what draws us to music. I guess I was fascinated with Roy Hargrove because of the RH factor. Always interested in what Bob has to sing and say, edgar.

I guess, from the Brit's collection, Toussaint's Comfort was a magnet, but I'm not certain why.

The song that was an identify factor was Year of the Cat. Odd how certain chords are the ones that pluck our synapses.

Well, today is Johnny Depp's birthday so here is one by him.

I never know whether to call Depp great or merely odd. Depends on what he does, I guess.
Once Upon a Time, Bobby Darin sang this song.

@edgarblythe,
What a great vocalist Bobby Darin was, edgar, and I recall that one quite well. I like Johnny Depp because he IS different, Texas.

Well, y'all, today is Michael J. Fox's birthday, so here is a tribute to the man.

Well, look at this. Here's the squirrel and the moose in our studio today.

JPB, I like the Caravan theme, but I checked and I didn't see Chocolat. Think the Duke did that originally, but not certain.

Hey, mooseman, Never understood Edward Scissorhands, buddy. I tied River Phoenix to Johnny for a long time until I let go. Silly Letty. I liked "From Hell" better than any movie thus far.

Don't forget to check out the tribute to Michael J. Fox, folks. Just found out why I know "Little Sir Echo". Talked to my sister and she said that my brother sang it.

Hey, Today is Cole Porter's birthday. This genius deserves a tribute.

I have always been a Michal J Fox fan, from his stints on sitcom TV, to Back to the Future and other films he's made. Also like the Mamas and Papas.

@edgarblythe,
I just found out, edgar, that the beguine is a slow rhumba. Very different version by Johnny Mathis, buddy. Thanks.

Cole Porter also wrote my telling song. Guess whose singing it, and don't peek. Close your eyes and listen, and see if you can tell.

@Letty,
I had read at one time that the beguine is a ballroom dance, but it did not mention rhumba. I suppose it is such. I believe Johnny Mathis came by his version in the middle of the disco craze. Very Happy

That last song you played is possibly the best recording I have heard by her.

@edgarblythe,
You Peeked! I knew you would recognize Natalie, edgar. Just having some fun with our listeners.

Well, today is Les Paul's birthday, and although I have never liked the sound of his guitar, I had to play this one, cause it's perfect timing, y'all.

@Letty,
I couldn't start the video without peeking. I'm funny that way. I have always tried to like Les Paul's recordings, but really don't.
