@edgarblythe,
Well, all, it's time for me to say goodnight, and I think that I shall do so with a great guy and vocalist. Although Jack could have been a great jazz singer, he leaned more toward pop.

first Jack, then dad.

I have had my grandson from Denver here this evening. He is spending the night.

Good morning, WA2 K radio audience.

Alex, Don't know Natalie Merchant, but enjoyed her song Carnival. Thanks, buddy.

edgar, I recall Peter and Gordon's, I Can't Live in a World Without Love. Another invasion memory, Texas.

Hey, Brit. I remember Pet Clark. Great song in a lovely romance language. Thanks, buddy. Had no idea that she was British. I can never remember the difference between what I have read by Charles Dickens and what I have heard sung. Don't recall that one from Oliver Twist, however.

Hope that I didn't miss anyone, but it's rather early in the morning for me.

Wow! I didn't know that Don Ho had a daughter, but today is her birthday, so let's hear one by her, folks.

We'll dedicate this to Merry Andrew and sglass and the yitwails. Nothing from either of them.

@edgarblythe,
Mornin', edgar. I didn't say that correctly. I meant nothing from the yitwails.

Hey, let's hear my favorite from Peter and Gordon.

And since it is supposed to hit 90 degrees here today, how about one from Chad and Jeremy.

Ah, a warm San Franciscan night. Thanks, edgar, and here's one to match from the hippie generation.

I'm checking in quickly from work and cannot listen to any music Sad

The sun is shining and tomorrow is a public holiday in Germany. Happy!

@urs53,
ah, Urs. That's great. Sorry that you can't listen, but I'm going to dedicate this one to existential potential. For those who can, see if you think that Don looks like this fellow.

@edgarblythe,
Funny, edgar. Well, you're right, Don can't cause he's dead. I named one of my sea gulls Eric. Get it?

While you are here, tell me which version of "..and Mimi.." that you like best, ok?

While I have always admired Art Lund, my preference goes to Al Jolson. Jolson is one of my top favorite artists.
