Good morning, WA2K folks.

Wow! edgar, that Sherlock Holmes trailer looked intriguing. Loved it when his chamber maid ran screaming from the room. As far as I can recall, the only time that Sir Arthur was tricked was when he was duped into investigating the fairy hoax. Thanks, too, for the Roy Orbison song, Texas. He sounded different doing that one.

Well, my goodness. Here's Izzie back. Strange about that "Feeling Groovy" song, gal. That's the one that firefly was playing when I first invited her/him to visit our cyber station. Don't know what happened to that glow worm.

Heard from my daughter and she sounded up. Had been to the hospital to see my boy and he wanted some tuna. Told her to tell him that Charlie the Tuna said, Hi and that the chicken of the sea was surviving.

Well, all, as the sky becomes a tinted pink over the Atlantic ocean, I decided to play this one for our jazz fans.

Mornin', evabody. Hi, izzie. My wife no longer needs rehab. She's mostly all right. I appreciate that Simon and Garfunkle song.

letty, your sunrise song fits in with my browsing as background music. Nice.

@edgarblythe,
Love that song, edgar, and we'll dedicate that to all of us who have children. "God bless the child who has his own." Yep, we need to help our children learn independence.

Izzie, I cannot tell you how many times that I have fallen. Never broken one bone except for my pinky finger. Lots of milk when I was little which provided me with calcium. I guess that's the reason.

Today is Vincent Price's birthday, and I had no idea that the man lived to be 83 with so many things wrong with him.

Here's a tribute, folks.

And, from The Abominal Dr. Phibes, "The War March of the Priests". I used to play this on piano, but I thought it came from Aida. Not so. Love to learn stuff.

He also did a lot of Poe's creations. Guess Craven knows that.

@Izzie,
Thanks, Izzie, for that lovely song by James Blunt. Don't know him, but he obviously is pleased with his adoring public. Glad that you feel "less miserable" Razz (My attempt at a pun on Les Miserables.)

Today is Ramsey Lewis' birthday, and here are a couple of great ones by him, y'all.

I watched Dr Phibes (original) and The Pit and The Pendulum a few weeks ago. One film I liked Vincent in, Confessions of a Chinese Opium Eater, I am going to look around for.

@edgarblythe,
Never heard that one by The King, edgar, but thanks for playing it. Not one of his better ones, however.

Today is Christopher Lee's birthday, folks, and here's a surprise. The man can sing.

@Izzie,
Izzie, dear. My comment was a pun, hun. Less miserable, get it?

Jack Johnson's song was great, incidentally. What were all those bugs flying around?

Also love the song from the musical, The Mark of Zorro.

Speaking of bugs, all the stagnant water left by the downpours in Florida, has caused an alert because of this fellow, folks

http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g91/Ghotimeal/animated-mosquito.gif

mosquito-borne encephalitis is becoming a problem. Could be true in other states as well.

So, an update on a rain song by Smokie.

Yep, we have seen the rain.

@edgarblythe,
Loved that song by Jimmy, edgar. Yes, it's funny how time slips away.

Going to say goodnight now. I will do so with two songs. One by Ramsey Lewis. (sorry for the abrupt ending)

And one for all of us who have lost a loved one, especially for Beth and Mr. hbg. whose wife and mother died today.

First, Ramsey.( bet you know this one, edgar)
