@Letty,
Except for the first Universal "The Mummy," with Karloff in great makeup, there just wasn't a sequel of the caliber of "The Bride of Frankenstein," but besides the first "Dracula," those are the best of the lot.

The culmination of the Universal monster flicks happened to be the great comedy team's best movie:

@djjd62,
Thanks, djjd, for Golden Slumbers. I love the song but never knew its title.

@edgarblythe,
it's usually part of a longer medley that ends the abbey road album

golden slumbers/carry that weight/the end

George Clinton - Don't recall that one. But I have a VHS tape of the Abbot and Costello film. Those were two funny guys.

@djjd62,
Thanks, djjd. I also always thought the Beatles had some of the best stereo of all the recording artists.

@edgarblythe,
Another variation edgarblythe! In a most unlikely synthesis of culture, Greek goes Aboriginal, as the Chooky Dancers, 10 barefoot performers in loinclothes and ceremonial white body paint perform their smoldering rendition of the classic dance Zorba the Greek.

Good morning, WA2K radio audience.

Hey, Brit. No fries with my meal last evening, but you would NOT have wanted to pick up the tab. Thanks for that funny song.

dj, loved all the Beatles music, and we're still thinking of your friends and mine, Canada. Golden Lullabye was beautiful as were the others.

Mr. Wizard, funny clips from the old, but scary movies. Thanks, buddy.

edgar, loved your hilarious Mr. Bean Zorba dance.

Hope that I didn't miss anyone. Slept the two martinis sleep, and my blood sugar was normal after eating all the wrong food. The Outback is a marvelous restaurant. Two lobster tails with all the side dishes. YUM!

How about a little morning jazz, y'all.

@panzade,
Welcome back, panz. Never heard Darius before, but I really liked the jazz man.

One of the finest composers of music that I have ever heard is Irving Berlin. His birthday is today as well.

Here's a tribute to him, y'all.

My favorite by him, folks.

@Rockhead,
Big Head Todd and the Monsters? Love it, Rock. Never heard them before but they do match Mr. Wizard's monster show. Thanks, Kansas.

Love chocolate mousse as well.

Another version of an Irving Berlin song by a fabulous canuck.

Good afternoon. Just dropping in to say I will be back online later. I'm going to rest a while. Here is Judy Collins to lull me to sleep.
