Roy Acuff's other big song was Freight Train Blues.

Edgarblythe, Letty Hello.
This lady has a daughter,...who has, I believe, recently, redid her mothers song. I can not locate. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

time to play more Hollies for Letty

Bus Stop was one of those perfect pop songs that defined the summer of '67.
Written by Graham Gouldman later of 10 cc...it had that near east melodic style he favoured

panz, went to a couple of Frat parties. (wish I hadn't) No Easters, however. Would love to hear some songs by your Coup de Grasse.

You better believe that acorn fell way far from the oak tree. Frankly, I didn't care for Nina Simone, Sr.

Enjoyed The Hollies' Bus Stop as well. Thanks.

edgar, the only thing that I remember by Roy Acuff was, Hey, hey, hey, don't pull that stuff on me. You can find it here, but it requires Windows Media Player, Texas. Travel down til you find the one of which I speak.

Y'all be sure and check out the one I played for Alex.

Continuing with the train theme. Here's one by the Doobie Bros.

panz, just got through listening to Old Howard,Dandelion River Run, and The Ballad of Bradford Bishop. Were you playing or singing on those songs?

@panzade,
No more tears, panz. Just a memory.

I cleaned Bud's Kay with furniture polish instead of linseed oil.

Still standing in the corner of my living room.

Hear that Kay being bowed in the beginning of the song?

@alex240101,
a simple "Thank You" says volumes, alex.

Enjoyed Jordu. Nice jazz piece, panz. Hope your team won.

Time for me to say goodnight, y'all, and I think I shall do it with a rainbow, and a song for May by Tchaikovsky.

A rainbow after the storm.
