It has been a great day here on WA2K. Mr. Wizard has gotten some things settled about a movie and talent. We appreciate that.

Thanks, edgar for resolving the problem about Jonathan Edwards. He wrote "Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God." <grins> For the sake of our listeners (including your pd/producer,) it would be simple if we identified what exactly we were talking about.

I am just sooooo glad to see our Urs back and playing a lovely German song. Drink lots of fluids my dear friend. Things will be fine.

Izzie, this is talk radio as well as record radio, hun. Say what you please because what you have to say always pleases us here. Of course, Ronan Keating feel that's one doesn't have to say a thing to feel the feeling.

Thanks, Britess, for the music.

Here's a song for the world, and if anyone gets a chance, check out some of my stuff.

Before he recorded the songs, Honeycomb and Sweeter than Wine, Jimmy Rodgers' voice coach gave him up as hopeless.

Good morning, WA2K radio audience.

Wow! I missed Izzie's Phantom of the Opera song as done by Lee and Connie. That was a fantastic version of, "Love Me, That's All I Ask of You." Thanks, gal.

edgar, Jimmie Rogers is still with us. Love, Kisses Sweeter Than Wine, but Heading for the Last Roundup was a surprise to me.

Ah, Stardust, the best part of many songs is the introductory verse. Thanks for the Glen Miller version.

dit dit; dot dot; dash dash. Guess whose birthday is today.

@edgarblythe,
Hee, hee. Funny, edgar. I don't know it either. I do recall the Titanic used SOS for the first time.

Well, folks, today is Sandy Dennis' birthday. I read Up the Down Staircase by Bel Kaufman and although I need to check it out, there is something interesting about her involving her teaching certification.

Here's a tribute to Sandy, folks.

@Letty,
Ever since I saw Sandy Dennis in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf I have looked forward to her performances. I can't watch the video here at work, but will later today.

@Barry The Mod,
I had assumed that Gary Brooker, the organist, had lifted the intro to WSOP from Bach, but no. He said he just wrote it one day. It really evokes those goodle days...

Hey Panzade.... only once on a music lyric thread - I got the wrong lyrics - but I tried <laughs>!!!!

Good to read you are "seeing" well these days - loved the vid you posted over on t'other thread! (really need the videographer to even up the musicians exposure - not enough keyboards) Wink

<goes to formally shake hand in true British decorum - pleased to meet you - grabs hold - cranks up the volume - starts dancing! There - now we've met Iz style Very Happy) (I'm quite quiet really Shocked)

panz, that was the most fantastic acoustic guitar version of Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring that I have ever heard. Dare I say that it was perfect? Thanks, buddy.

Izzie, just sent the blue puppy a message. I'll let everyone know later about her.

Incidentally, gal. I remember "For Your Eyes Only", but simply cannot recall Roger Moore as J.B. Guess Sean Connery will always be the one and only Bond to me.

It's Jack Klugman's birthday and here's a memory from The Odd Couple. Sorry about the lack of sync, folks.
