@edgarblythe,
Never heard that one by the Fab Four, edgar, but thanks, buddy. Speaking of faces, I wonder where all the animals are?

Interesting item on the news today. It seems that of all the ladies that have played Ms. Money Penny in the James Bond movies, this one is the most popular.

Alex, Welcome back. Loved the Baja Marimba band. Fabulous percussion instruments. Nice to see someone from the Lions and Tigers and Woods Devils. Oh My! Razz

edgar, man is an animal and I love that Secret Agent Man. Thanks, Texas.

Here's another carnival, y'all, and it is the beautiful swan.

Camille Saint-Saens.

@edgarblythe,
Hmmm, edgar. That's quite a mix. Lauryn Hill has a great voice, but I prefer it when she sings straight. Maybe the hip hop and rap can be blamed on her youth.

Nope, not Harry edgar.

@edgarblythe,
edgar, that "Skin to Skin" song was lovely. Never heard that one and the lady who sang with Harry was the perfect companion. Thank you so much for playing it. I listened twice.

Well, y'all, it's time for me to say goodnight, and I have chosen two. One is a classical and the other a pop.

First the BeeGees

Now Debussy.

A perfect earth day

i heard Susan Boyle for the first time only a few days ago, and immediately wondered who she sounds like. i think her voice has a definite resemblance to Mama Cass Elliott's. great voices both, in any event.

edgar, I had no idea that the Bee Gees did "I Started a Joke". Wow! Who was that oriental couple who did that one, Texas?

Well, my goodness, honu is back. Perhaps he can tell us. Welcome back, M.D.

I think you're right about Mamma Cass and Susan Boyle. I especially liked the duet with Sammy, Jr. Thanks!

Anyone remember this guy? Today is his birthday.

My mom loved him.

Here's a tribute to Duncan by someone named Willie.

Hey, Brit. Loved those two Max Wall songs. Hmmm, what kind of tobacco was he smokin'?

Ah, I recall this guy.

One of my favorite trivia questions: Which famous writer authored the original Cisco Kid?

I have never seen a production of any Gilbert and Sullivan play. Just snippets, such as this. I am of a mind to search online for a DVD or two.

Cass Elliot had a wonderful voice. I still have a record or two of hers.

O Henry of course wrote about the Cisco Kid. Only thing, the radio and TV series describe him as O Henry's Robin Hood of the west. He was in fact a despicable bandit.
