Time for me to say goodnight, but before I do, here are some dedications.

To dutchy: Don't know about the other Aussies' weather

When You're Hot You're Hot

To the Canadians:

Snowbound by John Greenleaf Whittier

To Boston:

Where's the hawkman?

To England:

Is it a foogy day in London Town?

To Germany: Don't forget The Boss Concert

Hope I didn't miss anyone.

And finally, to the new A2K.

Anything Goes

Hi Letty thanks for that introduction, so appropriate for the next song. Heat unrelenting in my part of the world, another day when the mercury reached 110 degrees in the shade.

just in from work and trying to figure out why sometimes, somedays everything just seems to darn well suck, no matter how hard you try to find a way to turn it around.

Sending love to all - be back later. x

@Letty,
Loved that Footloose, Letty, and his costume was outstanding.

Here are some neat costumes ... except they're made of paper.

@Raggedyaggie,
Ah, dear Raggedy. Come on down during the hurricane season and I assure you that you will wish you were back in PA. Razz

Thanks for the quintet of famous folks, puppy, and the additional info on others.

(resisting the urge to say, "sit down guys; here comes the dog with the cold nose")

Debacle, Welcome back. Love that song, Indiana, and the Mona Lisa pix is hilarious. Ah, "I'm your Venus" always reminds me of our Eva.

Here's a song by Phil that I like, and we'll dedicate this one to someone I used to know.

Hoorah, edgar's back in the company of the jester. (we showed him earlier, Texas). Great song, incidentally.

And there's our dj. What do you think of this welcoming song, y'all. Good theme song, too, Canada.

And here are a couple of guys who have more than modem problems, but they're dancing anyway.

It's carnival time in Germany again - or Fasnet as we say here... Here's a bit of what's going on in many towns during the next weeks: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=66Q6v8lEjlo

@urs53,
Delightful, urs. Your video reminded me that in February, it will be countdown until Mardi Gras. This year, the King of Bacchus will be Val Kilmer. Last year it was this guy.

I wouldn't exactly call him a hunk, so hulk will have to do. Razz

A clip from Deb's "Opera" thread so long ago reminded me of Hank, so here he is singing Jambalaya.

Time for me to say goodnight, sooooo goodnight.

@Izzie,
Good morning, WA2K folks and Izzie. This is going to be one of those interesting Saturday's. Today is Justin Timberlake's birthday and I was interested in that kid's voice and popularity.

Here he does "Til the End of Time" and we'll follow up with Chopin's Polonaise that was adapted to a pop song called "Til the End of Time." Don't tell me there is no such thing as synchronicity.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AKXEbSpmpDw

Justin is a Baptist? Well, we do share one thing in common. He observed that he was not religious, just spiritual, so we'll do this for Izzie and Deb.
