Good morning all.

Some more December 28 birthdays:

1856 - Woodrow Wilson, 28th President of the United States, Nobel laureate (d. 1924) ; 1903 - Earl Hines, American musician (d. 1983) ;1908 - Lew Ayres, American actor , All Quiet on the Western Front, Johnny Belinda, et al (Ayres was a pacifist who sought to become a member of the Medical Corps during World War II. The military would not guarantee him that position, so he declared as a conscientious objector, and reported to a CPS camp. Having such a well-known public figure take this stance was poor publicity for the military, and it led to changes in the rules, at which point Ayres was then able to join the Medical Corps. He served in the Pacific theater and in New Guinea.) (d. 1996) ;1922 - Stan Lee, American comic book writer ,editor, and the former president and chairman of Marvel Comics. With several artist co-creators, most notably Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko, he co-created Spider-Man, the Fantastic Four, the X-Men, Iron Man, the Hulk, Thor, Daredevil, Doctor Strange, and many other characters, introducing complex, naturalistic characters and a thoroughly shared universe into superhero comic books. He subsequently led the expansion of Marvel Comics from a small division of a publishing house to a large multimedia corporation; 1934 - Dame Maggie Smith, British actress (She has been acclaimed throughout her career and has won numerous awards for acting, including five BAFTA Awards, two Academy Awards (The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie & California Suite ), two Golden Globes, an Emmy Award and a Tony Award; and 1954 - Denzel Washington, American actor ,awarded three Golden Globe awards and two Academy Awards (Glory and Training Day).

Oops, raggedy, Letty leapt ahead in time. Blame it on my youth. Thanks for the fabulous trio of famous faces . Perhaps I'll be redeemed by doing a couple of songs.

Incidentally, edgar. I love Memories of You. Thanks.

Good morning. I am at work and so can't be playing music. It's cold this AM, but it is expected to warm into the seventies later on. Perfect winter. I will be back in the afternoon.
