@Izzie,
Izzie, I love that song, and I did a wee bit of dancing myself. Thanks, gal, and here is one by the same Kenny and his jazzmen that my sister will be stunned to know that I found.

oops, edgar, missed your Cougat Bombshell from Brooklyn song. Thanks, Texas. We love it.

JPB, welcome back. It's been a while. Had no idea that Marlene did that one. Great!

And, folks, there's our puppy with a quartet of famous faces and extra info on the celebs. Thank you PA.

Here's the one that I remember by that German vocalist and actress, y'all.

Marlene was one of a kind, to borrow that cliche.

I have Tony Bennett and Andy Williams here to do a nice little medley.

Hot and humid here. I have had to put on the ceiling fan. But, a front is about here, from California, and it should give us December temps once again.

I wasn't familiar with David Knopfler's story. I found this interview interesting.

Bruce Cockburn - The Coldest Night Of The Year

I was up all night, socializing
Trying to keep the latent depression from crystalizing
Now the sun is lurking just behind the Scarborough horizon

And you're not even here
On the coldest night of the year.

I took in Yonge Street at a glance
Heard the punkers playing
Watched the bikers dance
Everybody wishing they could go to the south of France

And you're not even here
On the coldest night of the year.

Hey look at me now
See the shape I'm in
It's taken me so long to catch on to what's going on
Inside this skin
When two lovers really love there's nothing there
But this suddenly compact universe
Skin and breath and hair

I watched the all night TV show
In the all night bar
I drove all the people home
I was the one with the car

Now I'm sitting here alone and sleepless
and wondering where you are
And wishing you were here
On the coldest night of the year

it's actually quite warm here now, 50 degrees and snow melting

ah, it is so nice to see all of our animals back, plus our dear Izzie who has a bundle of hugs from all of us, and out Canadian dj is always a pleasure to hear. Wish I could acknowledge each one, but it's been a long and unseasonably warm day in Virginia.

My goodnight song from Bobby Darin, y'all.

Good morning, WA2K folks.

edgar, I was not aware that Bobby did that one. Thanks, Texas, because often the lyrics to that one fit all of us sometimes.

Dutchy, welcome back. Always nice to see our cosmic eagle with us, and I love that one by Diana. Billy Joel also did it. Thanks downunder man.

The yitwails are all right. Got a nice song by Bing and those three sisters from them.

Glad to know that Merry Andrew is home, and hope that the dys' broken hip is quick to heal. Hope that Ellinas, our pug nose Greek, is o.k. as there has been unrest in Greece.

Guess whose birthday is today. Love this song by her, and I will dedicate this to my son.
