I always looked forward to Jo Stafford on the radio, as a child. I didn't remember her doing that one. John Gary made this recording of Little Snow Girl.

@edgarblythe,
Good morning, WA2K radio

Watched Jumanji with Robin Williams. Great fantasy film with a good ending.

Thanks for the "Little Snow Girl" song, Texas.

No snow here, but a tornado watch is in effect. Scary, y'all.

Today is Greta Garbo's birthday, and I love this tribute to her. Sorry that the ending is chopped off.

Just east of the freeway, snow is on the ground. We had it for hours at my place, but it melted right away. Three freeways are not moving, due to accidents.

edgar, the weather is weird all over. I recall, when living in Virginia, that a dangerous snowstorm occurred in October. It played havoc with power lines and cars.

Hey, puppy of blue. Thanks for the info about the stars and the great montage of famous faces. Also loved Bread's song as it reminds me of colorbook. Sure do miss her.

Gilbert Roland looks so familiar. Wonder if he did Zorro?

How about a rousing symphony, folks. Perhaps it will match the weather pattern.

Now I shall go watch and worry.

@Letty,
Gilbert Roland was in every movie that called for a Mexican or Latino. He was a handsome man and I swear he never aged. Laughing

@Raggedyaggie,
Wow! I couldn't find a proper video for Gilbert, but I just discovered that he was in the movie Cheyenne Autumn. Ah, well, folks, we all know by now that the only thing that I recall about that flic is the anachronism.

Thanks, Raggedy.

Well, let's hear a surprise version of "Fever" by Rita Moreno, y'all.

@edgarblythe,
I watched Gilbert in The Sea Hawk yesterday. Rita did an excellent job doing Fever.

@edgarblythe,
Hmm, I tried to find Gilbert in Sea Hawk, edgar, but the one that I located didn't show him. Hey, Texas. I had forgotten about that Brenda Lee song. Now our crushes have become more like admiration.(odd coincidence; Gilbert also starred in Camille as did Greta Garbo)

Here's a delightful clip with Terri Garr. Love this funny movie, folks.

For David Gates' bday. I never spent much time listening to this group, but they were actually pretty good.

@edgarblythe,
edgar, the only song that I ever heard by Bread was, IF. That one was lovely, Texas, and here's another that I always associate with "coloring"

@Letty,
Colorbook is a good song.
Eydie Gorme has a long history of making good music. Much of it in Spanish. Here she is with one I listened to on the radio quite a bit.

@Izzie,
Hoorah! Our Izzis is back in the music business. Love that one, gal. Makes me think of Ravel's Bolero.

Guess what, folks. The skies are clear and I am looking at the full moon from the window of my wee studio.

We can all do a moon dance tonight. Music, Machel.

@Endymion,
Great, Endy. Hope you like the Beatles in their early days. Not one of my favorites, but it seems to fit the mood, buddy. Love Paul thumbing his nose.

This song is the one reponsible for making me start to love the Beatles. The major body of their work is one of the greatest ever, in my not so humble opinion.
