@Raggedyaggie,
A good day to you, puppy. Thanks again for the informative info on the celebs, and the sextet of famous faces.

Wow! What a surprise to find that Bob Dylan has a son. Let's listen to one by junior, shall we? The sync is not the greatest, but Jakob has Bob's eyes, methinks.

Here is another of my faorite Belafonte recordings.
Take my mother home.

I consider Jakob Dylan to be very talented, but so far his songs haven't touched me in that special way.

Dedication time on WA2K, folks.

First for Izzie, show and tell.

http://news.softpedia.com/images/news2/Judi-Dench-Joins-The-Casino-Royale-Team-2.jpg

She was M in the movie

and the words Reflections in a Golden Eye by Tina Turner.

See reflections on the water
More than darkness in the depths
See him surface and never a shadow
On the wind I feel his breath
Goldeneye, I found his weakness
Goldeneye, he'll do what I please
Goldeneye, no time for sweetness
But a bitter kiss will bring him to his knees
You'll never know how I watched you from the shadows as a child
You'll never know how it feels to be the one who's left behind
You'll never know the days and the nights, the tears, the tears I've cried
But now my time has come and time, time is not on your side
See him move through smoke and mirrors
Feel his presence in the crowd
Other girls they gather around him
If I had him I wouldn't let him out
Goldeneye, not lace or leather
Golden chain take him to the spot
Goldeneye, I'll show him forever
It will take forever to see what I've got
You'll never know how I watched you from the shadows as a child
You'll never know how it feels to get so close and be denied
It's a gold and honey trap I've got for you tonight
Revenge is a kiss this time I won't miss
Now I've got you in my sight
With a goldeneye
Golden, goldeneye
With a goldeneye, goldeneye

Good morning, all.

edgar, Roger is the only one that I have ever heard sing that song with the proper meter. Thanks, Texas.

Hey, puppy, guess what was on TCM last evening? Surprised

Thanks, for the septet and the info on other famous folks. Loved your Singing in the Rain song. Hmmm, Where's Reyn?

My word, folks. I was looking for something by Dorothy Lamour and found this. Had no idea that "Shane" could sing.

And, guess who watched it for the umpteenth time last night. Laughing

Ladd surprised me. He has a pleasant singing voice, doesn't he?

And Letty, you surprised me with that video. I thought for sure we'd be hearing:

@Endymion,
Yum, Endy, and welcome back, my friend. Nothing is better than chocolates whatever the season.

And for you, my favorite Keats poem.

A Thing of Beauty (Endymion)

A thing of beauty is a joy for ever:
Its lovliness increases; it will never
Pass into nothingness; but still will keep
A bower quiet for us, and a sleep
Full of sweet dreams, and health, and quiet breathing.
Therefore, on every morrow, are we wreathing
A flowery band to bind us to the earth,
Spite of despondence, of the inhuman dearth
Of noble natures, of the gloomy days,
Of all the unhealthy and o'er-darkn'd ways
Made for our searching: yes, in spite of all,
Some shape of beauty moves away the pall
From our dark spirits. Such the sun, the moon,
Trees old and young, sprouting a shady boon
For simple sheep; and such are daffodils
With the green world they live in; and clear rills
That for themselves a cooling covert make
'Gainst the hot season; the mid-forest brake,
Rich with a sprinkling of fair musk-rose blooms:
And such too is the grandeur of the dooms
We have imagined for the mighty dead;
An endless fountain of immortal drink,
Pouring unto us from the heaven's brink.

@Raggedyaggie,
Oops, puppy, how did I miss your contributions? I think Letty needs to clean out the cobwebs.(also played Vladimir twice) I think it's called multi-tasking.

Loved that clip of Duel in the Sun, and Dorothy's beautiful Moon of Manakoora was so wonderful. Yes, where is Jon Hall? sorry, Aggie. I also missed edgar's Harry Belafonte and his wonderful melody.

You know, edgar, at one time I did NOT like Elvis. Thanks for the memory, Texas. That one was nice.

Speaking of memory, y'all. How about THIS "dorothy" nemisis. What a wonderful tribute to Margaret.
