@Letty,
Miss Letty, I am in trouble! It is the Pathfinder's birthday ... and I need a song for him.

Can you sing for him?

Well, time for me to say goodnight. It's been a great Saturday with birthdays all around.

How about a jazz nocturne to close the evening, folks.

@Dutchy,
Good morning, WA2K radio folks.

Ah, Dutchy. You are a man of your word; quite rare to find these days. I love that song, O cosmic one. Especially liked the flute and the kangaroo hop. Thanks, my friend.

Well, I closed with a jazz song last evening, how about a nice acoustic guitar version of Softly as in the Morning Sunrise.

@Dutchy,
And you must know, Dutchy, that I love flamenco guitar. Thanks, that was inspiring, guru.

When I was a kid, I used to confuse flamenco with flamingo. Will always remember sitting in my Florida room and seeing two beautiful pink ones flying against the sky.

And here is a tribute to those beautiful winged creatures, folks.

@Letty,
Good morning, miss Letty. I've been drooling over Dutchy's music here and on RH's thread. Love this guy!

Here's one to go with my morning coffee.

@JPB,
JPB, that was soooo soothing. What a performer, and you may think me a bit daft, but I loved that little yellow weed at the end. Used to blow the spores away when I was a kid, and be delighted when they fluffed away like miniature snowflakes.

Today is this Nick Lachey's birthday, and I am quite impressed with his voice. I can really identify with the lyrics, folks.

@Rockhead,
Welcome back, Rocky. I have never heard Diana sing a bad ballad, and that one was particularly smooth. Thanks for the memory, honey. Hmmm. edgar should be back today. Hope he pops in and let's us know.

Well, today is Australian singer Delta Goodrem's birthday, and she does a fabulous duet with this feller.

Welcome back, edgar. and I like that Gene Pitney song, buddy.

Well, folks. This is birthday time again. Mystery Man is gonna celebrate. He's a veteran as well, and deserves a salute.

Time for me to say goodnight, y'all, and here is a jazz version of a wonderful ballad, In the Still of the Night. Lyrics will follow.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Og-DP_kaAg

In the still of the night, as I gaze from my window
At the moon in it's flight, my thoughts all stray to you
In the still of the night, while the world is in slumber
Oh, the times without number, darling when I say to you

Do you love me as I love you
Are you my life to be, my dream come true
Or will this dream of mine fade out of sight?
Like the moon growing dim
On the rim of the hill, in the chill
Still of the night.

Are you my life to be, my dream come true
Or will this dream of mine fade out of sight?

In the chill, still of night
Of night, of night, of night

From Letty with lots of love

@Rockhead,
Good morning, WA2K radio listeners and contributors.

Rock, that was fabulous and funny. My word, folks, I recall learning that dance. It was fun. Thanks, Kansas.

Today is Ennio Morricone's birthday, and who doesn't recall this great theme.
