@edgarblythe,
Hey... did you manage to make some christmas wooden treats? Any chance of selling anything before Christmas?

Good luck with it.... just keep going for it. x

It's all geared around next year, izzie. So many things to do and consider, I can't get started yet.

ah, edgar, In the Mood by Glen Miller. I may be wrong, Texas, but I think he is the one that flew off into the unknown and never returned. According to Bud, he was killed in a bar room.

Izzie, Cavatina was beautiful, and you may write to me anytime you like. I hadn't realized that the lovely classical guitar was done prior to the movie, The Deer Hunter. At the end, when De Niro couldn't shoot the deer, I cried. John Williams is fabulous.

dj, nice to see you in our little studio, and The Redemption song was beautiful and so true, Canada. Thanks.

Wow! JPB you must have heard me calling you. Never heard the John Boutte version of that song. Great blues man, Chicago. Thanks. I think we're all asking "why" at the moment.

Well, folks, we're living in hard times, so here's a depression song by Michael Buble.

Back later with my goodnight song, y'all.

Time for me to say goodnight. It's been a long/short day and as we noted earlier, The Times They are Achanging.

Good morning, WA2K radio folks.

edgar, Never heard that one by Dylan, but I think we get the message, Texas, and thanks for that goodnight song.

honu, welcome back and I just found out that Obama's grandmother was from Hawaii. I love that song, big island man, and Chet did a marvelous job on acoustic guitar. Thanks, buddy.

Well, today is John Legend's birthday, so how about a good morning song. Love this one as well.

Thanks, puppy. Great septet today. Ah, Mr. wax on; wax off.

Here's one by Bill Evans, folks. See if you can name the theme.

@edgarblythe,
Well, edgar, Any type abuse is horrible, but when a person is weak and helpless, and suffers that kind of treatment, that is when I fear for us all. I read a book once called The Whipping Boy. It was all about emotional abuse. Not many people can see that on the outside.

Don't know how Florida will turn out this year, but Virginia seems to have done an about face.

Time for me to say goodnight, y'all, and I do hope the world will be a better place tomorrow.

Love this song, and it will be for all of us.

Good morning, WA2K radio folks. Er, who won? Razz

edgar, Didn't know that Bobby did Fire and Rain. Thanks, Texas. Love it!

Welcome back, Rocky, and I have never heard that one by Michael, but it is so true. Thanks, as I have really come to love Mr. Buble's voice.

Well, today is Tatum O'Neal's birthday, and I was stunned to read about her childhood. I vaguely recall the movie Paper Moon, and saw something about the movie Little Darlin's, but instead of a song about her, how about this jazz version.
