Hi gang! I've just dug up a 'Reyn-esque' type story for all to peruse:

----------------

Cross-dressing bag-snatcher left fake boob

Police in Florida are hopeful of catching a cross-dressing purse snatcher who left a clue behind - a fake boob.

http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h246/Reyn2244/fake.jpg
Late breaking news: The thief was caught by the processing of the various material found at the scene of the crime. During a short interview, the thief recanted and says to reporter how ashamed he felt robbing an old lady

Officers in Port St Lucie say it happened when the man grabbed a 74-year-old woman's purse, reports the Palm Beach Post.

The woman told police she was walking to her car when the thief pushed her to the ground and ran off with her purse.

A water-filled condom covered by a sock, which the victim said had popped out of the suspect's tube top during the struggle, was found by officers at the scene.

One witness told police the thief wore a denim mini skirt and a black tube top and left in a silver car occupied by two other men also dressed as women.

Police are processing the fake boob for fingerprints to identify the suspects, police spokesman Officer Robert Vega said.

They will also conduct a DNA analysis on a hair - possibly a chest hair - found on the condom.

@edgarblythe,
Hey, Reyn. That was fantastic. He's a boob and should be put in the booby hatch. Remember that Thurber story? If not, here it is.

Time for me to say goodnight, folks, and I can't think of a better way to say it than with the Navy Hymn. We'll dedicate this one to O'George.

This Sunday has turned out to be better than I expected.

Ike, stay away from Florida, and leave the rest of America free!

From Letty with love

I hope you found it amusing. I don't know anything about Thurber. I also don't have a clue as to how the utube site works.

I'm a mess, aren't I?

Reno 911! is an American comedy television series on Comedy Central that debuted in 2003. It is a mockumentary-style parody of law enforcement documentary shows, specifically COPS, with comic actors playing the police officers. Most of the material is improvised, using a broad outline, and with minimal scripted material.

The series spawned a film, Reno 911!: Miami, featuring the same cast.

@Rockhead,
Good morning, WA2K radio audience.

Hey, Reyn. I'm a mess as well, but that's o.k. 'cause we messy folks can always hire a cleaning lady.

Rock and edgar, I have never seen that comedy central show, but I don't think that Miami Vice need worry. Thanks for the smile this early morning, and we just learned a new meaning to "cop" a feel. Razz

Today is Peter Seller's birthday and I had no idea that he had such a sad personal life, but he was one funny guy.

I think I may have seen clips of it advertised, but I don't get Comedy Central, so have never seen the show.

@Raggedyaggie,
Hey, edgar, how about I'm just a plain ole Country Boy. Don't think Ike will be as bad as once thought.

Thanks, Raggedy for the birthday people and the music.

Another from Dvorak, folks, and reminding our listeners that although this was about America, it was mostly European.
