Do you need a shock jock and someone to do a metal show? Would I get an intern? With big boobs?
And little or no moral compass?

I'm glad you've arrived, BPB. A metal show would be just the thing. And as I told panzade previously, all our DJs are free to choose their own assistants. Our intern, Leilani, has already been assigned to Joe Nation, our Assistant Station Manager, however.

We are not required to follow FCC constraints. However, if your show becomes too risque', we could lose advertisers and be forced to yank you off the air. That would be most regrettable. Please be careful.

Welcome back, BPB. I hope you learned something from your little "time-out." Although I can't imagine what it would be.

Dear Dr. Lola,

I am desperate. My paramour has turned to power mowers for a profession. We can't live off love. What should I do?

Hungry in Florida.

Yes, free your hidebound spirit and stop watching the loved one ride his powermower. Obtain a life of your own.

Oops, I'm not Lola.

C.I., a serious moment here to all our listeners.

When we consider all that we have accomplished in our lives; when we balance all the truth against the lies; we find one simple message.

I love you. Can more be said? There is a time when we merely succumb to that simple phrase, and decide what rat is winning in the maze.

With all the glitter and the gold, we view again a story best untold.

We tend to cloister in our own small sea, of beauty without proper symmetry.

Still holding on to my rose, but I think I love the fluff of dandelions better. They are simple and so true. The weeds are best aligned with what is new.

As for the animal planet, osso, I have found more pain and love in all that lies beneath the mute suggestion of the eyes of the unspeakable.
Someone once told me:

Do what is right, then do what you want.

Time Is A Healer

words by Diane Scanlon/Greg Smith
sung by Eva Cassidy

I found a picture of your smiling face
Bringing old memories
That I had locked away
The burden of anger
From a heart filled with pain
Was finally lifted
And I smiled at you again

Oh if time is a healer
And all hearts that break
Then all hearts that break
Are put back together again
'Cause love heals the wound it makes

I spoke such harsh words before our goodbye
Well I wanted to hurt you
For the tears you made you made me cry
All my hopes and dreams
Well they started vanishing
Those tender hurt feelings
Became a dangerous thing

Oh if time is a healer
If time is a healer
And all hearts that break
Then all hearts that break
Are put back together again
'Cause love heals the wound it makes (makes)

All of those years we spent together (spent together)
Well they're part of my life forever
I hold the joy with the pain
And the truth is
I miss you my friend

Well time is a healer
And all hearts that break
All hearts all hearts that break
Are put back together again
'Cause love heals the wound it makes

this woman crossed all genres...a wonderful voice lost too soon...enjoy my friends....

Love heals the wound it makes:

Penetrating, Willow. I never see your screen name that I don't thing of this song:

Weep for Me
Mark Murphy, Frank Sinatra
Willow weep for me
Willow weep for me
Bent your branches down along the ground
and cover me
Listen to my plea
Hear me willow and weep for me

Gone my lovely dreams
Lovely summer dreams
Gone and left me here
To weep my tears along the stream
Sad as I can be
Hear me willow and weep for me

Whisper to the wind and
say they love has sinned
To leave my heart a sign
And crying alone
Murmur to the night
Hide her starry light
So none will find me sighing
Crying all alone

Weeping willow tree
Weeping sympathy
Bent your branches down along the ground
and cover me
Listen to me plea
Hear me willow and weep for me
Willow, willow, weep for me

Thank you, my friends.

Goodnight.

From Letty with love.

how are things going in the small dark movie of your life
late at night you call your girlfriend in the morning you call your wife
in the morning you go for coffee leave town by the underpass
leave whatever happened last night cigarette in a champagne glass
the road used to go someplace you never been before
now it's just a race track and the only prize is more
the only off-ramp is up ahead and just where ain't too clear
and change is a semi with smoking wheels filling the rear view mirror
you could really use a rain coat and a pair of cool shoes
you could really use some idea of what you're gonna do
but the road keeps coming at you and you find no place to rest
and in these small dark movies no-one knows what's best
so how are things going in the small dark movie of your life
late at night you call your girlfriend in the morning you call your wife
in the morning you go for coffee leave town by the underpass
leave whatever happened last night cigarette in the champagne glass

how are things going
how are things going
how are things going

In fact I do. They told me at the coffee shop that they were just baked and fresh. I've got some honeydip, chocolate glazed, boston cream, lemon filled, powdered, jelly filledm crullers and plain as well. If anyone has any requests, I'll be happy to run back for more.
