there is a growing trend towards self sufficency, so do you think that the climate is right for a remake of the classic 'The good Life' (or good neighbours I believe it was called elsewhere). Or could it not be remade without being rubbish? What do you reckon?

Where would they find someone who looks as good in overalls as Felicity Kendall? And the Margo character just wouldn't work anymore (Mrs Bucket ruined airs and graces forever)

Besides, housing blocks are so small these days - could anyone survive on the harvestings of their window box?

It certainly couldn't be remade in the states - look what they did to Ab Fab, and I heard they were going to remake The Office. Sacrilege.
