True freedom lies in understanding the sociological restrictions of the past and knowing enough about history, biology and psychology to enable you to determine which ones are genuinely needed for people to live in society and discard the arbitrary rules that were the product of fear, greed and religious whims.

True freedom lies in recognizing that many beliefs are just guesses, and that God will not throw us into hell if we dare to question dogma.

True freedom gives us the intelligence to determine whether it is ethical to pursue our heart's desires, and the moral strength to forego actions which will hurt others. It is not ethical for priests to molest altar boys, no matter how much they may desire to do so.

True freedom is living any way we choose and with anyone we love, as long as we do not cause unnecessary pain to others and respect the world in which we live.

True freedom is NOT subjugating yourself to the slavery of worshipping some alleged "higher power." It is the realization that each of us is a child of the universe, and we have personal responsibility for the effects of our actions on other beings.

True freedom is voluntarily cooperating with others for the greater good of all.

True freedom is NOT the peace found by ignoring the questions that have plagued mankind, but by trying to answer them.

True freedom may not give you peace of mind or soul, but it is a heck of a lot more stimulating than living by the pious platitudes you posted.

And please do not insult our intelligence by claiming that your "higher power" is not God. If it isn't God, then what is it?

True freedom is to be free from all definitions and explanations of what true freedom is.

If one is truly free one is not restricted by descriptions of what freedom is.
It is beyond all descriptions.

To be truly free is to not know you are, for as soon as one is aware that one is free one is aware of the of 'unfree', the restricted, the compromise, the contradiction, the finite.

True freedom is infinite.

Where there is "freedom" and "no freedom",where there is opposites, there is no freedom, for freedom does not embrace its contradiction; If one is truly free one is unrestrictable and if one is 'unrestrictable' one is free to be restricted.

Freedom is beyond contradictions.
