Hi,
I think this sentence contains some errors, can you pls check:
"In the second scenario, a greater daily amount of fuel is consumed"

Nothing wrong with it, although this might look better: "In the second scenario, more fuel is consumed daily."

English is one language where it is possible to construct a sentence in multiple ways and for it to still be correct. I speak several languages and this is most common to English. The reason for this is because, I am sorry to say, because the language is made up of / derived from several different languages. I have met many people who have said that english is quite difficult to learn.
