Buffy Fan!

don't know about a spin-off..but my name pays homage to Buffy :-) Miss the show myself...

I thought a spin-off for one of the minor Buffy characters would've been a good idea. I always did prefer the peripheral characters on that show.

Seth Green's "Oz" would've been a good choice. Or the blonde vampire Spike. He was always good.

I don't know if you've heard of the show Angel, but that could be Buffy's spin off. When you watch it, you know what's going on BECAUSE you've seen Buffy before. I own seasons 1-7 on DVD and trust me, I miss it so much. I wish it would never end. People make fun of me but I frankly don't give a .... yea. It makes me laugh, cry, holds suspense, it kind of sets an example. Buffy and Angel were the true love of the show. Her and Spike were just... well I don't think they should have been together. I like Spike, but she belonged with Angel, there was so much more passion. I did hear a rumor of continuing the show without Gellar and keeping Eliza Dushku, but I don't know what's going on with that since she has Tru Calling.

/sigh. I feel your pain guys. I too suffer from PBAD [Post-Buffy/Angel Depression]. People make fun of me as well for being so obsessed with it but usually that's because they haven't seen it. Once they see it, they change their mind.

As far as a spin-off I think Joss has laid the Buffyverse to rest. (Though, I really hope I'm wrong!) I think he's too wrapped up in Serenity, his Firefly movie.

Right now I'm finishing up Angel Season 4 on DVD. I didn't start watching it til season 5. I actually didn't want to give it a chance because I didn't think it could be as good as Buffy, but I was so wrong. So I'm savoring the last few episodes I haven't seen. I'm hoping I can find some happiness in the Firefly series, because I haven't seen any of that yet.

Oh and ack727 don't even get me started! Spike is my favorite character! There really should be a limit put on sexiness, damnit. Or at least a warning label like, WARNING: DO NOT ATTEMPT TO OPERATE HEAVY MACHINERY WHILE LOOKING DIRECTLY AT THIS CHARACTER.

Season Noir is actually a series about, in short, the uprising of a Nazi-esque demon army after the sun blacks out.

Now, I don't go around recommending fan fic often. Or ever. Other than this one b/c I don't like much fan fic out there. It's usually just sloppy porn. But this is high quality sh*t. She could have definately written for the show, in my opinion. She possesses the same wit, drama, intricate plots and substance of the real deal.

Just give it a chance. If you don't like it, stake me.

Just as a forwarning, it does get a bit NC-17ish in parts. And the author is a big fan of the whole Buffy/Spike romance. Which, hey, no complaints here.
