Nice...I was seriously deaf in one ear after hanging out in Copperfield's one night right in front of the speaker.
One of the managers at that place is trying to get Theo Epstein's band to play there for charity..that would be cool. And Joshua Tree is playing there on Dec 4th(I think). Haven't seen them, but I dig U2, so I'll most likely be in attendance.
Brookline Ave, right around the corner from Fenway park. It's pretty big, but there's nothing really to the place. Few TV's, stage upstairs for a band, and a small stage downstairs. They get busy for Red Sox games, and when they have good bands. My roomate is a bouncer there.
Hmmmm..... sounds interesting. I assume Joshua Tree is a U2 cover band?
Did the "I haven't seen them, but I dig U2" give it away, littlek? I say this in my most innocent, nicest way possible.
Sorry...yes, they're a U2 cover band.
Well, that is what gave me the idea. I do hate to assume things, you know.
Yes, I know this.
You have a firm grasp for the obvious...the rest is a different story?
I'm slightly sarcastic, you know.
Yes, I have to finally break it to you.
Now you know.
Thanks for being honest and upfront about your flaws.
oy, maybe not so socially adept.
Opposable thumbs always make people think they must be good at something.
opposable thumbs can be very handy.

Of course. How else could you play "Thumb wars"?
Yo. We was just watching the movie "Miracle."

littlek wrote:Do you know Dinosaur Jr Slappy? J Mascis of that band played with the bass player from widespread panic and the drummer from a bunch of small-name bands (Harvey Milk is the one I'm most familiar with).
I remember Dinosaur Jr ... they did

nimh, i listened to an interview with a woman from the Netherlands today. Muslim, deputy mayor of some town. I need to find out more. She was an interesting speaker. Who was she?
nimh - yep. And J did Freakscene last night too.
Mrs. Doubtfire is an awesome movie, if a bit...freaky.
As far as the contest goes: who's still in?
