It looks you "had" a secret admirer but he now has blown the lid, hasn't he? Smile

Do you know, I have never knowingly had a secret admirer, but do you think that's because I never look beneath the surface, being a Sagittarian? I have hidden shallows. But there again, it could just be because nobody admires me Crying or Very sad

Heck, Clary, I never look beneath the surface as well. Actually, I have problems SEEING the surface at times...

That's good for me to hear! Visually challenged AND shallow, both of us!

But you can't be that shallow because you have the depth of insight to know you're shallow...

I just can't shake off this feeling of abject misery...
Why does Kicky think I hate him?
Just because I've said some horrible things to him at times...
But then again, he says horrible things all the time...
I never want to see him again.....
Why doesn't he call?? Crying or Very sad

It's so nice of you Clary and najmelliw to try and take my mind off things by discussing your shallowness - but let's face it, you are both obviously so shallow you do not realise hearts are breaking here, kids!

Have I had a fun day. Decided I couldn't spend all day on the internet, so I shut down and went to the supermarket. I then went to the newsagent and saw on their television that Steve Irwin had died. I finished my shopping, came home and went to check my mail box, not paying much attention to what I was doing. Someone had shoved a flyer in under the hinge of the lid so that when I lifted the lid it bounced back on my wrist as if it were sprung. Hey presto! One split wrist.

Lezzles you must be jinxed, bad luck following you everywhere. Have received my new Lovatts magazines this week and they will keep me busy for a while. Did see a familiar name amongst the prizewinners, infact twice, some sort of a record. Do you still subscribe to them?

Can't afford a subscription, I'm afraid! Just have to wait like the rest of the plebs and buy them separately each month.

My son knows how much I love doing crosswords and he always surprises me on my birthday (which is X-mas, not a very good day Smile ) with a yearly subscription. All the others I also buy on a weekly basis as Mr. Howard's allowance doesn't allow us to many luxuries.

Ah, but you're forgetting that a kilo of butter, a litre of milk and a loaf of bread, cost them so much more than us.

You don't expect them to actually live there, with all those lowly public servants, do you?

All I can say about them is that they are completely out of touch with the real world. I could pour buckets on them and none would have an answer!
