Look at it this way, ehBeth. Since we just passed it, you would have lost! Now with your new guess of 1957, you're only 1658 pages away from victory!

What an optimistic view on the world.
I'm feeling more and more optimistic as this day goes on. My italian class buddy e-mailed me earlier and told me that I should switch to the saturday class, because it covers twice the material than the class I'm in now, and out of the class of ten people, he's the only guy. I already switched into it, and went to the school to pick up the lesson I missed so far. Sweet!
<kicky arrives at Italian class on Saturday>
But kicky, what about the blond chick?
I'm up for one (1!) game tonight either before or after my shower. When are you free?
I know, I will probably miss out on the blond chick. But maybe she'll still call me for practice anyways. One can hope...
Maybe you could drop by this week's class, kinda mention that you're trying Saturdays - but you're still available for study practice
Whats this about the post-shower scrabble game? Is that kindof a ritual? And - is just the one game enough, I wonder, does it do the trick?
It must be different if you play it in Italian ...
In Italian the hand gesture knocks the board off the table and a fight breaks out about who won.
In Dutch the tiles end up covered in spittle
Clickity click
The odometer turns...creak...
creak....anybody guess 299? I could be dissuaded....
No?
IN Italy, the game has way more vowels in the sac......
How'd you find that out, littlek? I think one of these times we should play one where you can use italian words, just for the hell of it.
By the way, 300 is Paulaj's guess. Will she win?
No, she will not!
It has to have more vowels kicky.
Oh, yeah. I guess I see what you mean, figone!
Hell, there ain't a word that doesn't end in "A"...is there?
Yeah, and the "x" must be worth at least 50 points! hehe
I saw the NY storms on Brit telly this morning...are you very cold? They say that you should cuddle to prevent hypothermia!
It's cold here, but it looks like Boston and other cities got it a lot worse. Heeheehee...
The only thing I have to cuddle with is my cat! So sad...
