So, I went to get some groceries. I usually go today anyway. I had to abandon the hope of going to my regular ghrocery because not only was the lot full, but the surounding neighborhood was full too. Then, on my to the other grocery store, I had to detour through one-way street hell to go around an apparent fire. I had to park 3 miles away from the second store (it's a huge lot) and I couldn't bear to go directly into the mayhem, so I stopped in at TJMaxx. Then I stopped into the liquor store (it was indeed pretty busy and people were leaving with cases.
When I got to the store, there were no carts, so I had to go clear across the huge lot to find an empty one. There were about 5 lines that went from the registers to the back of the store which shoppers had to weave through and I had to step over a basket to get to an item more than once. They did give out chocolates though - while in line and upon leaving the store.
I'm home now. Who wants to bet that HM#2 will ask me to take her grocery shopping when she gets home?
ohhh, wouldn't that be a jewel? from your description i am guessing you went to alewife parkway mall. i haven't moved from sofa for hours and don't intend to until monday. maybe just to bed and then back.

I'm sure the Alewife area was a lot of fun today.
My whole town was going crazy earlier. I even had to wait to get a haircut..unfortunately today's pretty much the only day I could go before I go...to....NEW ORLEANS!

It's actually going to be a f'n mess down there. It's a HUGE national convention, all car dealers and vendors who sell to car dealerships.
I'm a damn angel compared to most guys in the car business.

I've always wanted to go to the Detroit Auto Show, but why's it gotta be in the stinkin' winter when the highway's always closed.
Just an example of these guys, this week I've already had 3 guys tell me about how there's going to be a lot of whores there.
