Trying to identify old Italian artists

Hi,
I'm hoping that someone out there can help me find the identity of some Italian artists. I have 8 small oil paintings (4 inches x 6 inches). They appear to be quite old. One is signed, Peoli, three are signed Gudi or Gudj and four are signed Oxa.
Does anyone out there recognize these artists? I'm curious to find out more about these old works.

Hi I might be able to help you with the Peoli marks. Can you tell me what they look like. Juan J. Peoli, the Cuban painter of the 19th Century, had a very distinct mark.

The Peoli painting
Hi, Dave H. The Peoli painting is signed in red and captiol letters, PEOLI.
It's done free hand of course. There's not much more I can tell you. It's a painting of a sailboat on a lake. But the background looks European.
Hope this helps. Rembrandt

Rembrandt - welcome to a2k. Could you possibly scan photos and add them to the Topic? One can do that by sizing them down through a photosizing site like Imageshack or Photobucket.

Peoli paintings and others
I would love to be able to send scans of paintings of Peoli, Gudi and Oxa, but I'm not sure how to do it. These little 4"x6" painting appear to be quite old. I'd love to show them to you. Let me get with someone who knows how and maybe I can work it out. Thanks for your response. Rembrandt.
