Isn't it nice that we have alternating periods of day and night. I wouldn't want to live in areas north of the Polar Circle where you have exceedingly long days or nights. On the summer solstice there would be 24 hours of daylight and on the winter solstice 24 hours of Darkness.
I now like the night. At one time--the first 40 years of my life--I had a great phobia of the dark.
