Movies - DVD

My PC has a slot to input DVDs. If I input a DVD while the PC is powered up, the DVD is automatically shown on the monitor.

But if the DVD was in the slot from before I powered the PC up, then the DVD doesn't automatically come on to the monitor. How do I call it up and get it to play from the last point I played it?

@gollum,
Click on Computer, select dvd drive and autoplay. I think you will have to replay the movie all over again, or use the menu on the dvd to select the scenes.

@gollum,
Try clicking on the "File" icon on the task bar below. It should give you your files as well as devices. Click on the dvd drive to get to your movie. Windows 8 and 10 don't show you the "Computer" icon so easily, you have to search for it.
