For those who will see this end to end pay special attention to Gerrard...
...to me his point is at the crux of the all QM mess...throwing words like "random" or "probability" speak more about the incompleteness of the calculations then it speaks about what is happening...In sum, there is no superposition and Einstein had a point. No gambling!

@Fil Albuquerque,
One comment:

Actual infinity without new patterns, structures of information, in sum, repeatable information is not a real infinity in my take on the problem.
One ought to make a distinction between quantity and quality.
In a way of putting it, through geometry, if there is a limit to the geometric patterns you can form, the quality of forms is not infinite although you have no boundaries as forms repeat after a while.

@Fil Albuquerque,
...in case some of you are wondering why do I claim to have good reason to refute infinite quality of patterns, universal atractors in geometry and mathematics, as also fractals come to mind. The world is rational because we are not bombarded with an infinity set of qualities everywhere we look at.
In fact there is very good reasons to refute infinity in this sense as we more or less grasp the world around us. You can have an infinite set of information but if it loops and repeats when it comes to patterns the actual thing you have is a finite set of things at work with no time boundaries.
A pity that the gentleman's in the debate haven't brought this up...

@Fil Albuquerque,
Two modern day concepts to have in mind to think about Parmenides set of beliefs, Spacetime (block Universe, no motion), and Atoms (homogeneity of Being).

@Fil Albuquerque,
...the previous video is passable for young audiences, easy to digest and engaging, yet, flawed yeah... it really takes a philosopher to spot the contradictions in the clues they brought up.
It seems clear scientists are just not language equipped enough to spot them.
The meshing of consciousness with free will, the unfortunate use of the wording causality instead of pattern correlation with a timeless block Universe, with fatalism as everything that can happen will happen, all of it, clashes in a ton of paradoxes that repeatedly they can't spot.
One thing stands clear, its amazing how stupid the best of the best among us still can be.
