I have over a week of vacation time left this year, and I'll like to use it. The problem is I don't want to spend a lot of money going out of the country.
I'll like to spend my vacation time in my city. Can someone suggest things to do if you are not travelling? What is there to do during the day on weekdays?
The last time I had a day off at work, I just spent the time @ home, and did nothing to watch TV all day, since everyone I knew were working. I was so bored. I can't imagine a week being that bored.
Stop at a nice touristy hotel and check out the pamphlets in the lobby. There has to be something you haven't seen in Toronto. Call the chamber of commerce... or better yet; the local library and ask what they'd recommend you do... since you'll "only be in town for a week". You might be surprised what you don't know about your town.
