Any recommendations for anime that are short (10-20 episodes) and preferrably sad/romantic?

Michiko and hatchin. It's 22 episodes. Theyre girls who cross paths escaping dire situations. It takes place in south america and it's a little different from your typical anime stylistically. I recommend.
