i am looking for a help to design a circuit which can count any number of feet.forexample if i walk up too 100 foots,th circuit shows num100

Far, I'd dangle a small weight at the end of a bimetallic (or other such) strip. It's the very most obvious way but doubtless there are many more
As far as the circuitry goes, counter semis are available
