Hey guys.. just looking for some input on the slim line 24v led lights.. im retrofitting a boat and trying to install the slimine 24v potlights. The boats electrical system is 12v. There will be 4 pots in series. My question is, can I bypass the specific drivers supplied for the leds and run the 12v line to 12vdc/24vdc step up converter at 72w output. (Each led is 12w) than from there to the lights? Will I need some sort of current limiter before each light or will they only draw the necessary 12w from the 72w available current?
