Btw, I just cut and pasted to avoid difficult spellings.

Lapsang spitchong is by far the worst tea I have ever tasted. Like drinking tea made out of month old cigarette butts soaking in stagnant swamp water.

@tsarstepan,
as I said Lapsang is aquired taste, Once you learn to like it, it complex smoky mesquite n creosote taste is just fantastic with sweetener .
The ENglishman I can understand, the ENglish have never been known to appreciate taste in their food. However, New York is a culinary mecca. There are cuisines there from countries that hqve not yet been discovered.

@farmerman,
I like a cup of Lapsang on occasion. It's a seasonal tea for me - I like it only in the autumn. The smokiness suits the weather.

...and now available iin the U.S., Black Insomnia coffee.

www.digitaltrends.com/home/black-insomnia-coffee-world-strongest-most-caffeine/

A 12 ounce cup has 702 mg of caffeine. The FDA advises limiting to just 400 mg daily.

It unseats the former leader of coffee Death Wish, which has 54.2mg per fluid ounce. Yup, Black Insomnia gives you a full 58.5mg per fluid ounce.

@farmerman,
It seems a mite bit too powerful for me...at least in one cup. The same amount over 2 pots of coffee is an entirely different thing.

@tsarstepan,
Ive noticed one ingredient that isn't necessarily added to the coffee persae but it definately affects the flavor.

That is having a person nearby providing good conversation.

This is how I like my coffee.

I have one cup of coffee in the morning and I take it with half and half and one teaspoon of sugar. The only time I drink tea is when we go out to dinner. I'll usually ask for a glass of sweet tea.

@tsarstepan,
tea is considered to be the best consumed drink after water. In the past few years,but Tea has certain disadvantages.It brings the chance of gastric ulcers,tea has tannic acid. If person drink tea is the maximum quantity then he may experience the problem of iron deficiency and anemia.
if person consume too much tea then he may experience different diseases like kidney disease and liver disease.
As it's summer, I would prefer coffee over tea,the reason is obvious, tea has lesser amount of caffeine than coffee.
