This is another of my new attempts at pastels.

it's a beautiful scene, but my imagination must do too much work to see it

the areas of darkness for the tree in the foreground should be at the same value as the areas of darkness in the background

the tree in the background is way too big, and would not have any visible highlights

the highlights on the front tree are wayyy too strong...they look strong to our imagination, but really all you need is a very very subtle color variation from the black of the trunk to suggest highlights...

good job on the sky, and commendable effort in general

Thanks Stuh, you're definitly right about the trees being too strong. It's only my third try though, I'm getting better.
